SDDC Draft Local Plan Review Part 1

On the19th of September, South Derbyshire District Council's Environmental and Development Services Committee agreed the Draft Local Plan Part 1 to go out to consultation between 7th of October 2024 and 6th of December 5pm.

The plan will update the existing Part 1 Local Plan, adding two new strategic housing and employment sites, a major employment site, and updates the plan to reflect national policy. To read the plan please see item 10 here: CMIS > Meetings

The District Council is holding several drop in events during October and November to talk to people about the Draft Local Plan Review Part 1. Please see the attached poster for details of the locations.
